Do’s
Do have someone drive you home after your procedure. Beard transplant surgery does not usually necessitate deep sedation, but if you are given one, our doctor will not allow you to drive while under the influence of it.
Do sleep with your head elevated for the first seven days, or for as long as the swelling lasts. Most patients will only experience swelling for a few days.
Do consult with surgeons on which medication is safe to take.

Do wash your goatee gently for the first five days, beginning on day 3. It is not advisable to scrub excessively or blast water stream directly onto the implanted area.
Don’ts
Don’t shave the implanted area for 1 to 2 months.
Don’t panic if you are experiencing swelling, because it is relatively normal especially on day 3 and 4 after the surgery.
Don’t wash your beard for the first 48 hours.
Don’t scratch the implanted area. Itching is normal in the days following the transplant surgery.
